TEN LAWS OF LOYALTY

1         The head of an organization must first be loyal to his subordinate
Loyalty does not just depend on the subordinate being loyal to their superior. Everything, good or bad flows down from the top
it is like the sweet-smelling oil that is poured over the high priest's head, that runs down his beard flowing over his robes. (Psa 133:2) ERV
Whatever is at the top, will be found in the ranks. The starting point of loyalty is the head of the organization. If he is unfaithful to his followers, they will be unfaithful to him.

2         Loyalty is the key to expansion
Many churches, businesses and individuals need to tap into the key of loyalty in order to expand. Growth in one location can take place only up to a point. That is what we call localized growth you sell a product but only a number of people can buy the product in one locality. After a while the community will be saturated with what you are selling. That is why you need to expand. Often expansion takes place in different geographical location.

3         Loyalty breeds loyalty
A leader breeds loyalty by being loyal to the people who follow him. When I t is time for your followers to be rewarded, be faithful and let the rewards materialize. Do not withhold the blessings of those who have labored with you for years. When one of your followers is in trouble, that is the time to show your loyalty. Dear friend, your followers are watching you closely. They will do what they see. If you do not betray them in their time of difficulty, they will not betray you. Loyalty breeds loyalty.

4         Disloyalty breeds disloyalty
This is a very common occurrence. There are many people who work closely with their superiors
But do not believe in them. They undermine them all the time! How can a person be so close, yet so disloyal? Can you believe that Ahab’s money was being used to finance the very thing he hated?
So King Ahab told Obadiah to come to him. Obadiah was the man in charge of the king's palace. (Obadiah was a true follower of the LORD. One time when Jezebel was killing all the LORD'S prophets, Obadiah hid 100 prophets in two caves. He put 50 prophets in one cave and 50 prophets in another cave. Then he brought them food and water.)King Ahab said to Obadiah, "Come with me. We will look at every spring and every stream in the land. We will see if we can find enough grass to keep our horses and mules alive. Then we will not have to kill our animals."They decided where each of them would go to look for water. Ahab went in one direction by himself and Obadiah went in another direction by himself. (1kings 18:3-6) ERV
5         Loyalty has a single eye
Jesus teaches about how the entire body is affected by the eye. He says that if you have a single eye, your whole body will be full of light [a good thing]. It goes on to say that if your eye is evil, your body will be full of darkness. What does a single eye mean? A single eye speaks of seeing one thing! In other words, in every sphere of life your attention should be focused on only one thing.  Jesus went on to say that you cannot serve God and mammon. In other words, if you see both God and mammon as`` gods’’ in your in life, you will not prosper. You must be loyal or the other. Jesus taught us that you would end up loving one and hating the other.
"The only source of light for the body is the eye. If you look at people and want to help them, you will be full of light.  But if you look at people in a selfish way, you will be full of darkness. And if the only light you have is really darkness, you have the worst kind of darkness.
"You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one and love the other, or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other. You cannot serve God and Money at the same time.
(matt 6:22-24) ERV

6         Loyalty demand the right attitude
There are some attitudes that do not lead to loyalty. A suspicious person cannot be a loyal person. If you suspect me of wrong doing, how can you be loyal to me? If you suspect that there is a snake in the room, how can you relax on your chair? Many people are suspicious about churches and pastors because of things they have heard. There are those who have made it their duty to spread bad stories about the ministry of the lord Jesus. Their mouth  are full of poison. They have convincing tales of the bad deeds of almost every minister of the gospel. Why is this? It’s because Satan knows that you will be bless through these men of God.
You can eat the grass growing on the good land. So why do you also crush the grass that other sheep want to eat? You can drink plenty of clear water. So why do you also stir the water that other sheep want to drink? My flock must eat the grass you crushed with your feet, and they must drink the water you stir with your feet!"(eze34:18,19) ERV

7         Loyalty does not join or create faction
In every society or group, there are always people who create divisions. There are natural differences amongst people in every nation. God is the one who makes these natural differences. However, there are some people who seem to have an`` eye ‘’  for  these differences. They seem to notice them, talk about them and make something big out of these differences.

My brothers and sisters, some members of Chloe's family told me that there are arguments among you.(1corin1:11) ERV

8    the root of disloyalty is pride
Pride causes arguments, but those who listen to others are wise. prov 13:10. ERV

The rebellion and division that happen in churches are often a result of deep seated pride. It is often out of a spirit of pride that rebellion takes place. I want us to look closely at the rebellion of korah. Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and On turned against Moses. (Korah was the son of Izhar. Izhar was the son of Kohath, and Kohath was the son of Levi. Dathan and Abiram were brothers, the sons of Eliab. And On was the son of Peleth. Dathan, Abiram, and On were descendants of Reuben.) These four men gathered 250 other men from Israel together and came against Moses. They were leaders who had been chosen by the people. All the people knew them .They came as a group to speak against Moses and Aaron and said, "You have gone too far—you are wrong! All the Israelites are holy—the LORD still lives among them. You are making yourselves more important than the rest of the LORD'S God people."  Moses also said to Korah, "You Levites, listen to me.  You should be happy that the of Israel chose you to be different from the rest of the Israelites. He lets you come near to him to do the special work in the LORD'S Holy Tent to help the Israelites worship him. Isn't that enough?  He brought you Levites near to him to help the priests, but now you are trying to become priests also.
You and your followers have joined together and turned against the LORD! Did Aaron do anything wrong? No, so why are you complaining against Aaron?"        (num 16:1-3,8-11) ERV

Moses was leading the people of israel. He was surprised to find a group of princes rising up to challenge his authority. First of all, there was a large group in favour of this uprising. Two hundred and fifty princes were involed! These were not ordinary people! The bible says there were famous.
9     loyalty is an integral part of your character
Someone said faithfulness is the cornerstone of your character. I believe it is true that loyalty is an integral part of your character. Loyalty is not a set of rules you must obey. It is a matter of developing an invisible quality ,a certain style and character of doing things. Loyalty must emanate from the heart. It must not just be the following of instruction.
When disloyalty is an integral part of an individual’s character, he often repeats this treacherous behavior without provocation. You will see this in the life of jeroboam, the king of Israel.
First of all, Jereboam rebelled against  Rehoboam , the legitimate king of Israel. After that, he rebelled against  God. Notice  Jero boam ‘s rebellion against king Solomon:
There was also another person who became an enemy of Solomon. He was Jeroboam son of Nebat. He was an Ephraimite from the town of Zeredah. His mother was a widow named Zeruah. He was one of Solomon's servants, but he rebelled against the king. (1king 11:26) ERV

  10   familiarity breeds disloyalty
To be familiar means to be more friendly and informal than  is acceptable.  It Is a condition that develops between you and someone you know well, see often and hear often. There is a common saying that familiarity breeds contempt. In other words familiarity leads to a loss of respect. This is often true. I would like to go a step further and say that familiarity also breeds disloyalty.
Isn't he just the carpenter we know—Mary's son, the brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And don't his sisters still live here in town?" So they had a problem accepting him. Then Jesus said to them, "People everywhere give honor to a prophet, except in his own town, with his own people, or in his home."(mar 6:3-4) ERV
